Match Factory Teams Guide
How to join, leave, and maximize your rewards with Teams.
Why Join a Team in Match Factory?
Teams are a crucial part of the Match Factory experience. Once you unlock the Teams feature (usually around Level 20), joining an active team provides several massive benefits:
- Free Lives: You can request lives from your teammates every few hours. This is the best way to keep playing without spending real money.
- Team Chests: During limited-time events, your team works together to collect stars or items. Filling the team bar unlocks massive rewards like boosters and infinite lives for everyone.
- Team Chat: You can chat with other players, share tips, and celebrate clearing hard or ultra-hard levels.
How to Join a Team
- Tap the Teams icon at the bottom of the main screen.
- Use the search bar to find a specific team, or browse the recommended list.
- Look for teams that are Active (check their weekly help stats).
- Tap Join. Some teams require a minimum level to join.
How to Leave a Team
- Tap the Teams tab.
- Tap on your Team's Info or the specific Team Name banner.
- Look for the red Leave icon or button (usually top left or bottom list).
- Confirm you want to leave. You can instantly join another team!
The Team Chest Event Strategy
The Team Chest is arguably the best recurring event in the game. To maximize it:
- Kick inactives: If you are a team leader, remove players with 0 helps before the chest event starts so active players can join.
- Hoard unlimited lives: Try to time your level progression so you crack open the team chest when you actually have time to use the 1 or 2 hours of infinite lives it provides.
- Help constantly: Giving lives to teammates gives you extra coins, which you can use for +5 moves on ultra-hard levels.
